1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DisGuard (the "Bot"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Bot. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Bot constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

DisGuard is a Discord bot designed to provide verification and moderation services for Discord servers. The Bot offers features including but not limited to user verification, automated moderation, logging capabilities, and role management. We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account and server. You agree to use the Bot in compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You must not use the Bot for any illegal purposes or to harass, abuse, or harm others. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your server's use of the Bot.

4. Prohibited Activities

You may not: (a) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Bot; (b) use the Bot to violate any applicable laws or regulations; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Bot's functionality; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Bot's systems or data; (e) use the Bot to spam, harass, or abuse other users; or (f) use the Bot in any way that could damage our reputation or services.

5. Data Collection and Privacy

The Bot collects and stores certain data necessary for its operation, including server IDs, user IDs, role IDs, and configuration settings. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handle all data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Bot, you consent to our data collection and usage practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Bot, including all intellectual property rights, are and will remain the exclusive property of DisGuard and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, or other brand features without our prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DisGuard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Bot. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Bot in the past twelve months.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Bot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Bot will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Bot at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may stop using the Bot at any time by removing it from your Discord server. Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

10. Changes to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Bot or any part thereof at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Bot.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which DisGuard operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Bot shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
